Abstract
This research aims to address user management issues, specifically the problems of forgotten passwords and locked accounts in an Active Directory (AD) environment. The proposed solution includes the use of ADSelfService Plus as a self-service management application for forgotten passwords and locked accounts. This study employs an experimental approach with the prototype method, as it allows for the iterative development and testing of the solution. Quantitative data analysis techniques will be used to compare the use of ADSelfService Plus with manual methods, providing relevant insights into the issue. The results of this study are expected to offer an efficient design for the management of forgotten passwords and locked accounts in an AD environment. Keywords : AD, ADDS, ADSS, Prototype Method, Quantitative Analysis Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas permasalahan manajemen pengguna, khususnya permasalahan lupa kata sandi dan akun terkunci dalam lingkungan Active Directory (AD). Solusi yang peneliti usulkan mencakup penggunaan aplikasi ADSelfservice Plus sebagai aplikasi pengelolaan manajemen lupa kata sandi dan akun terkunci secara mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan metode prototipe karena memungkinkan pengembangan dan pengujian solusi secara iteratif. Penggunaan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dari data perbandingan menggunakan aplikasi ADSelfService Plus dengan metode manual juga dilakukan untuk mengolah hasil yang relevan terhadap permasalahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran rancangan yang efisien pada manajemen pengelolaan lupa kata sandi dan akun terkunci dalam lingkungan AD.
