Abstract

Today, STM provision has developed with a rectangular deep beam (Varney et al., 2015). To expand the application of STM for knowing the behavior of double cantilever pierhead, must be verified. The goals are (1) Verified feasibility of STM to predict the structure failure mechanism of double cantilever pierhead. (2) Knowing the structure failure mechanism on the double cantilever pierhead due to transferring the load. (3) The difference in the quantity of material used on double cantilever pierhead design with STM according to SNI 2847: 2019 and AASHTO LRFD: 2017. Finding the result (1) load transferred on the pierhead specimen’s S1 (direct strut mechanism) and S2 (vertical ties mechanism) confirmed, there is the same behavior between STM and FEM. The strength ratio, on the specimen’s S1 respectively 1.118; 1.09; 1.293, on the other hand, S2 0.63, above 1 conservative and can predict the strength of structure very well. Deflection in 100% loading applied, specimen: S1 (allowable is 18.75mm) respectively 12.88mm, 7.96mm, 2.048mm and S2 (allowable is 40.62) is 38mm. (2) Failure mechanism on the pierhead between STM and FEM, specimen’s S1, are same, but S2 is different. (3) Rebar usage has a deviation between SNI and AASHTO on the S1 respectively 16.67%; 15.78%; 16.13% and S2 is 17.05%, with AASHTO lower than SNI. Keyword: Double cantilever pierhead, STM, FEM, BESO 2D Saat ini ketentuan STM dikembangkan dengan balok tinggi berbentuk persegi (Varney et al., 2015). Mengembangkan aplikasi penggunaan STM dalam mendekati perilaku pierhead kantilever ganda perlu dilakukan verifikasi. Tujuan penelitian (1) menverifikasi keandalan STM dalam memprediksi kegagalan struktur pada pier head jembatan kantilever ganda, (2) mengetahui mekanisme kegagalan struktur pada pier head jembatan kantilever ganda akibat beban yang bekerja, (3) Perbedaan penggunaan material pada pier head kantilever ganda yang didesain dengan SNI 2847 : 2019 dan AASHTO LRFD 2017 dengan STM. Hasil (1) distribusi beban pada pierhead spesimen S1 (mekanisme strut secara langsung) dan S2 (mekanisme ties vertikal) terkonfirmasi antara STM dan MEH memiliki kesamaan. Rasio kekuatan,
