Abstract
The aim of this study is the evaluation of green behaviour implementation in Sekolah Alam Al Fazza to become an Adiwiyata school. The focus of the study is to comprehend how effective the environmental values applied in school events are and to analyse the strategy conducted by Sekolah Alam Al Fazza to become an Adiwiyata school. This study used a qualitative approach by conducting a case study method in Sekolah Alam Al Fazza. The data were taken from in-depth interviews, participant observation, and school notes analysis. The study result showed that the implementation of green behaviour in Sekolah Alam Al Fazza has been in line with environmental education principles according to the ministerial regulation of the Environmental Ministry (Permen LHK) number 23, year 2022, such as waste management using the 3R method (reduce, reuse, recycle) and the integration of environmental values in the school curriculum. However, there were several challenges to becoming an Adiwiyata school, including the lack of facilities or places related to energy conservation, teachers and students lack of commitment, and the need to create innovation related to environmental conservation. In order to make a strategic step, the school is expected to build a special team to carry out the process towards Adiwiyata. Furthermore, students’ participation is needed to be increased through integrated curriculum, building networking with environmental communities, strengthening collaboration with related government institutions, and creating some innovation. This study also enriches literature related to the evaluation of environmental programs in educational institutions, which in particular, include sekolah alam. Key Words: Green behaviour, Adiwiyata school, environmental education, sekolah alam Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi implementasi perilaku ramah lingkungan di sekolah alamal fazza menuju Sekolah Adiwiyata. Fokus penelitiannya adalah memahami sejauh mana nilai-nilai lingkungan diterapkan dalam kegiatan sekolah dan menganalisis strategi agar sekolah alam Al Fazza dapat menjadi sekolah adiwiyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di Sekolah Alam Al Fazza. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan analisis catatan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan perilaku ramah lingkungan di Sekolah Alam Al Fazza sudah sesuai dengan prinsip pendidikan lingkungan hidup sesuai dengan Permen LHK nomer 23 Tahun 2022 seperti pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) dan keterpaduan nilai-nilai lingkungan dalam kurikulum. Namun, ada beberapa tantangan yang menghalangi Adiwiyata, termasuk kurangnya fasilitas atau sarana prasarana yang berkaitan dengan konservasi energi, komitmen guru dan siswa yang masih perlu ditingkatkan , serta belum ditemukannya inovasi terkait pemeliharaan lingkungan. Sebagai langkah strategis, sekolah hendaknya membuat tim yang khusus menangani proses menuju sekolah adiwiyata. Selain itu perlu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa melalui integrasi kurikulum, membangun kemitraan dengan komunitas lingkungan hidup, dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan instansi pemerintah terkait serta menciptakan inovasi. Kajian ini turut memperkaya literatur terkait evaluasi program lingkungan hidup pada lembaga pendidikan khususnya sekolah alam.
