Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of audit opinion, profitability and company size on audit delay in consumer-cyclicals companies in the hotel, resort and cruise ship sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. Audit delay is the time needed by the auditor to audit the financial statements from the date the company’s book close. This research is quantitative research. The sample in this study uses a non-probability sampling technique using a purposive sampling method with a total of 92 hotel, resort and cruise ship listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2020-2023 period. Hyphotesis testing uses a logistic regression analysis model with the help of the SPSS 29.0 for Windows program to test the influence of audit opinion, profitability and company size on audit delay. The result of this research indicate that audit opinion, profitability and company size have no effect on audit delay. Keywords: Audit Opinion, Profitability, Company Size and Audit Delay Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Opini Audit, Profitabilitas dan Ukuran Perusahaan Terhadap Audit Delay pada perusahaan consumer-cyclicals sub sektor hotel, resor dan kapal pesiar yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2020- 2023. Audit delay adalah waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh auditor untuk mengaudit laporan keuangan sejak tanggal tutup buku perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif.. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah 92 sub sektor hotel, resor dan kapal pesiar yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2020-2023. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan model analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan program SPSS 29.0 for windows untuk menguji pengaruh opini audit, profitabilitas dan ukurann perusahaan terhadap audit delay. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa opini audit, profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay. Kata Kunci: Opini Audit, Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Audit Delay
