Abstract
PT.XYZ is experiencing network problems caused by a large broadcast domain due to single segmentation, un-isolated data traffic, and loops/flooding. This research aims to overcome these problems by implementing VLAN, VTP, and STP methods. The VLAN method will divide the network into several logical segments, VTP will help manage VLAN configurations centrally, and STP will prevent loops and flooding. The results of the study show that the implementation of VLAN, VTP, and STP methods successfully optimizes network infrastructure management services at PT.XYZ. The broadcast domain becomes smaller, data traffic is well isolated, and loops/flooding no longer occur. PT.XYZ mengalami permasalahan jaringan yang diakibatkan oleh broadcast domain yang besar karena masih satu segmentasi, traffic data yang tidak terisolasi, dan loop/flooding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan menerapkan metode VLAN, VTP, dan STP. Metode VLAN akan membagi jaringan menjadi beberapa segmen logis, VTP akan membantu mengelola konfigurasi VLAN secara terpusat, dan STP akan mencegah loop dan flooding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode VLAN, VTP, dan STP berhasil mengoptimalkan layanan manajemen infrastruktur jaringan di PT.XYZ. Broadcast domain menjadi lebih kecil, traffic data terisolasi dengan baik, dan loop/flooding tidak terjadi lagi.
