Abstract

This study aims to analyze the network infrastructure on the 5th floor of the Human Resources Bureau concerning network segmentation. The proposed solution includes utilizing the VLAN concept to divide broadcast domains and implementing network access restrictions using the ACL concept. The research method applied is NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), which comprises the phases of analysis, design, simulation prototyping, implementation, monitoring, and management. Qualitative data analysis techniques are also employed to process and interpret the research data. The research results provide an in-depth analysis of the design integration of VLAN and ACL concepts to separate network traffic for each different work team on the 5th floor of the Human Resources Bureau. The conclusion of this study shows that the integration of VLAN and ACL concepts offers valuable insights for network administrators to ensure data security and operational efficiency, particularly within the network environment of the Human Resources Bureau. Keywords : VLAN, ACL, NDLC Method, Qualitative Analysis, Security Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis infrastruktur jaringan di lantai 5 Biro Sumber Daya Manusia yang berkaitan dengan segmentasi jaringan. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup pemanfaatan konsep VLAN untuk membagi broadcast domain dan penerapan pembatasan akses jaringan menggunakan konsep ACL. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), yang meliputi fase analysis, design, simulation prototyping, implementation, monitoring, dan management. Penggunaan teknik analisis data kualitatif juga dilakukan untuk mengolah dan menginterpretasi data penelitian. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran analisis mendalam mengenai rancangan integrasi konsep VLAN dan ACL dalam memisahkan lalu lintas jaringan setiap tim kerja yang berbeda di lantai 5 Biro Sumber Daya Manusia. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukan bahwa integrasi konsep VLAN dan ACL memberikan informasi yang berharga bagi pengelola jaringan untuk memastikan keamanan data dan efisiensi operasional terutama lingkungan jaringan di Biro Sumber Daya Manusia.
