Abstract
Building technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the operation, upkeep, and repair of building systems, directly impacting the comfort and safety of its occupants. In the context of work involving various risks and environmental conditions, the need for ergonomic, functional, and safe wearpacks is essential. This study identifies issues related to the current design of technicians' wearpacks, which are often simplistic and do not adequately consider ergonomic aspects. Literature reviews indicate that uncomfortable wearpacks can diminish productivity and increase the risk of injury. Furthermore, sufficient pocket availability for storing tools and safety equipment is also vital. This research aims to design a wearpack that meets the needs of technicians by considering ergonomics, functionality, and workplace safety. With a more modern and innovative design, it is expected that this wearpack will enhance the performance of building technicians and provide better protection during their work tasks.
