Abstract
Non Performing Loan (NPL) is an important indicator in assessing the performance of financial institutions and other financial institutions in terms of returning credit that has been given. In addition, NPL also greatly affects the level of income and the level of returns to capital owners. This study was conducted to determine the effect of four factors, namely the number of debtors, the amount of loans, the effectiveness of operational costs, and financial performance on NPL with external audits as moderating variables. The population in this study were 77 Non-Bank Financial Institutions (LKBB) Partners of the Public Service Agency of the Government Investment Center. Based on the established criteria, there were 23 LKBB Partners of BLU PIP that had the criteria as research samples. The analysis method used in this study is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) which is carried out with Eviews 13. The results of the study indicate that the Number of Debtors does not affect NPL, the Amount of Loans does not affect NPL, BOPO does not affect NPL, There is a positive effect of ROE on NPL at LKBB Mitra BLU PIP, KAP Audit does not strengthen the effect of the number of debtors on NPL at LKBB Mitra BLU PIP.
