Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Asset (ROA), and Operating Capacity (OC) on Financial Distress in the energy sector companies, specifically the oil and gas industry, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018-2023 period. The data used are secondary data with a quantitative approach. The sample was determined using the Purposive Sampling method, resulting in 60 research data points. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return On Asset (ROA) have a significant effect on Financial Distress. Conversely, Operating Capacity (OC) does not show a significant effect on Financial Distress. Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Operating Capacity (OC), Bankruptcy Prediction, Return On Asset (ROA) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Asset (ROA), dan Operating Capacity (OC) terhadap Financial Distress pada perusahaan sektor energi industri minyak dan gas bumi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2018-2023. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel ditentukan dengan metode Purposive Sampling, menghasilkan 60 data penelitian. Metode analisis yang digunakan dengan uji t dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Asset (ROA) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress. Sebaliknya, Operating Capacity (OC) tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress.
