Abstract

The development of the world of construction and architecture in Indonesia has progressed from year to year with the emergence of various new innovative ideas related to architectural design or methods for carrying out construction work. One example that is growing rapidly in the world of architecture is the use of marble as a wall and floor covering. Work on floor and wall coverings in the Intan Bakrie Hanglengkiue Residential House construction project for outdoor or interior areas. The installation of marble in this South Jakarta Residential House project uses the dry system method, where the installation work uses a support frame, but for the installation of the interior walls you can also use the wet system method, namely the installation method using adhesive or a mixture. ingredients in a certain ratio. In this research, the aim is to find out the comparison of marble wall installation using the dry system and wet system methods in the South Jakarta Residential House construction project. The methodology used is evaluation research with analysis with the variables being the marble wall installation method and the indicators being cost and time, based on the results of secondary data processing. In this case, it is known that the dry system method on the walls has a unit price of Rp. 190,336.5,- and the daily volume area is 7.86 m2. Meanwhile, the wet system on the wall has a unit price of Rp. 275,775.5,- and the daily volume is 4.6 m2. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the dry system method on walls is faster, more economical and efficient. . Keywords: wet system, dry system, comparison, method
