Abstract
Gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat akan menimbulkan motivasi seseorang untuk berprestasi. Motivasi kerja mempersoalkan bagaimana caranya mengarahkan daya dan potensi bawahannya, agar mau bekerja sama secara produktif agar berhasil mencapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan perusahaan. Kurangnya motivasi kerja pada karyawan akan menurunkan kinerjanya dan karyawan tidak bekerja sesuai peraturan dan prosedur perusahaan yang akan mengakibatkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan replikasi yang meneliti terkait gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan hasil penelitian tersebut gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sample yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 karyawan di PT PAM Jaya. Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Serta menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik kepemimpinan yang tercipta semakin meningkat pula kinerja karyawan, dan demikian pula sebaliknya semakin burukkepemimpinan maka kinerja karyawan juga semakin buruk. Selanjutnya motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Serta menunjukkan bahwa menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik motivasi yang tercipta semakin meningkat pula kinerja karyawan, dan demikian pula sebaliknya semakin buruk motivasi maka kinerja karyawan juga semakin buruk The right leadership style will motivate someone to achieve. Work motivation questions how to direct the power and potential of subordinates, so that they are willing to work together productively in order to achieve the goals set by the company. Lack of work motivation in employees will reduce their performance and employees do not work according to company regulations and procedures which will result in lossesforthe company. This study is a replication that examines leadership style and work motivation on employee performance, and the results of the study showed that leadership style and work motivation have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The sample used in this study was 100 employees at PT PAM Jaya. Leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance. And shows that the better the leadership that is created, the more employee performance increases, and vice versa, the worse the leadership, the worse the employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance. And shows that the better the motivation that is created, the more employee performance increases, and vice versa, the worse the motivation, the worse the employee performance.
