Abstract
Signage, can be interpreted as a design or use of symbols and symbols to communicate a message or information to a particular audience group. Signage is commonly used for marketing purposes or other types of promotions. A signage can also be interpreted as a set of signs or symbols. In designing this sign, the designer made a sign for one of the schools in Jakarta, namely SMAN 50. The sign was made using the colors owned by the school's logo, so that it still has a brand identity. In writing this final project, it aims to help residents at SMAN 50 to find locations, information, and prohibitions in the SMAN 50 environment. Keywords: Signage, SMAN, Symbol Signage, dapat diartikan sebagai suatu rancangan atau penggunaan lambang-lambang dan simbol-simbol untuk mengkomunikasikan suatu pesan atau informasi kepada kelompok audience tertentu. Signage biasa digunakan untuk tujuan pemasaran ataupun jenis promosi lainnya. Sebuah signage bisa juga diartikan sebagai sekumpulan tanda atau lambing. Pada perancangan Sign ini, perancang membuat sign untuk salah satu sekolah di Jakarta yaitu SMAN 50. Sign dibuat dengan menggunakan warna-warna yang dimiliki oleh logo sekolah tersebut, agar tetap memiliki brand identity. Pada penulisan Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk membantu warga di SMAN 50 untuk menemukan lokasi, informasi, dan larangan yang berada di lingkungan SMAN 50. Kata Kunci: Signage, SMAN, Symbol
