Abstract

Developments in the construction sector are inseparable from the role of underlying technology. The usual problem is that there is waste or residual material waste that occurs when calculating quantity take off, this study will review a process of making pre-construction quantity take off as a tool for determining material requirements that will be included in the budget plan (RAB). One of the technologies in the construction sector in Indonesia that is starting to be used is the use of BIM or Building Information Modeling technology, to determine the results and accuracy of the Quantity Take Off from BIM (Building Information Modeling) software in calculating the Bill Of Quantity of the project. In this study, data was taken from the Balaraja Barat B Overpass construction project and the Cibodas Flyover Rehabilitation. The process of making this Quantity Take Off uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. Producing a difference in the percentage of volume comparison between the two methods, namely the BIM method and the conventional method for the volume of iron with a smaller BIM volume of 2.63%. The difference in results between the conventional and BIM methods is caused by several factors. such as, in calculating the volume of iron in BIM, a human error factor was found in conventional calculations due to the use of drawings with different versions. Perkembangan dalam bidang konstruksi tidak terlepas dari peran serta terknologi yang mendasarinya. Permasalahan yang biasa terjadi yaitu terdapat waste atau sisa limbah material yang terjadi ketika perhitungan quantity take off, penelitian ini akan meninjau sebuah proses pembuatan quantity take off pra konstruksi sebagai alat penentuan kebutuhan material yang akan dimasukan dalam rencana anggaran biaya (RAB). Salah satu teknologi dalam bidang konstruksi di Indonesia yang mulai digunakan yaitu penggunaan teknologi BIM atau Building Information Modeling, untuk mengetahui hasil dan keakuratan Quantity Take Off dari software BIM (Building Information Modeling) dalam menghitung Bill Of Quantity dari proyek tersebut. Pada penelitian ini diambi data-data dari proyek pembangunan Overpass Balaraja Barat B dan Rehabilitasi Fly Over Cibodas. Proses pembuatan Quantity Take Off ini menggunakan teknologi Building Information Modeling (BIM). Menghasilkan selisih presentase perbandingan volume antara kedua metode yaitu metode BIM dan metode konvensional untuk volume besi dengan volume BIM yang lebih kecil sebesar 2,63%. Perbedaan hasil antara metode konvensional dan BIM disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti, dalam perhitungan volume besi pada BIM, ditemukan faktor human error dalam perhitungan konvensional akibat penggunaan gambar dengan versi yang berbeda.
