Abstract

Design changes are often made based on site conditions and affect changes in volume calculations. Therefore, the design plan must be recalculated to accommodate the new design. The calculation of volume/quantity take off must be accurate, if there is an error in volume calculation, it will have an impact on increasing construction costs and certainly cause losses. The research method used involves collecting data from bridge widening projects involving conventional methods and BIM methods. The data analyzed included measurement accuracy, volume required, and costs involved in each method. The results of the casting volume calculation using the BIM method and the conventional method on the abutment work item had a deviation value of -89.7% and on the floor slab had a deviation of 8.87%. Meanwhile, the results of the calculation of the volume of castings using the BIM method and the conventional method on the Abutment work item have a deviation value of -21.44% and on the floor slab work item has a deviation value of -33.43%. These negative results have an impact on the costs incurred, the difference in costs incurred is -1,522,563,935.15. The analysis shows that the use of BIM in quantity take off tends to provide more accurate results to complete the measurement process. However, BIM implementation also requires significant initial investment in infrastructure and staff training. Perubahan desain seringkali dilakukan berdasarkan kondisi lokasi dan mempengaruhi perubahan perhitungan volume. Oleh karena itu, rencana desain harus dihitung ulang untuk mengakomodasi desain baru. Perhitungan volume/quantity take off harus akurat, Apabila terjadi kesalahan dalam perhitungan volume maka akan berdampak pada peningkatan biaya konstruksi dan tentunya menimbulkan kerugian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini melibatkan pengumpulan data dari proyek pelebaran jembatan yang melibatkan metode konvensional dan metode BIM. Data yang dianalisis mencakup akurasi pengukuran, volume yang diperlukan dan biaya yang terlibat dalam setiap metode. Hasil dari perhitungan volume pengecoran menggunakan metode BIM dan metode konvensional pada item pekerjaan abutmen memiliki nilai deviasi sebesar –89,7% dan pada pelat lantai memiliki deviasi sebesar 8,87%. Sedangkan, hasil perhitungan volume pembesian menggunakan metode BIM dan metode konvensional pada item pekerjaan abutmen memiliki nilai deviasi sebesar –21,44% dan pada item pekerjaan pelat lantai memiliki nilai deviasi sebesar –33,43%. Hasil negatif tersebut berdampak terhadap biaya yang dikeluarkan, selisih biaya yang dikeluarkan adalah –Rp.1.522.563.935,15. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan BIM dalam quantity take off cenderung memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat untuk menyelesaikan proses pengukuran. Namun, implementasi BIM juga memerlukan investasi awal yang signifikan dalam infrastruktur dan pelatihan staff.
