Abstract
Toll road construction refers to the process of building a highway that is specifically designed to accommodate faster and more efficient traffic than regular highways. Every job that uses heavy equipment is closely related to productivity. In field observations, it was found that PT. Acset Indonusa Tbk experienced a decrease in heavy equipment production capacity in excavation and embankment work. This study compares heavy equipment productivity data between plans and actual for excavation and embankment work STA 78+000 on the West Serang - East Cilegon section. The methods used are field observation and time study through primary and secondary data collection with qualitative methods. In regular excavation work, bulldozer productivity decreased by 19.48 m³/hour (10.53%), excavator decreased by 2.53 m³/hour (12.91%), and dump truck decreased by 0.52 m³/hour (4.84%). Meanwhile, in regular embankment work, excavators showed a decrease in productivity of 6.28 m³/hour (3.95%), vibro smooth drum roller by 3.59 m³/hour (10.26%), vibro sheep foot roller by 2.52 m³/hour (6.95%), dump truck by 10.63 m³/hour (36.53%), and motor grader by 18.12 m³/hour (20.63%). This decrease in productivity indicates the need for further research on the influence of weather conditions and other factors on heavy equipment productivity. The results of this study are expected to provide further insight to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of construction project implementation more effectively Keywords: Productivity, Comparison, Alternatives Konstruksi jalan tol merujuk pada proses pembangunan jalan raya yang dirancang khusus untuk mengakomodasi lalu lintas yang lebih cepat dan lebih efisien dibandingkan jalan raya biasa. Setiap pekerjaan yang menggunakan alat berat erat kaitannya dengan produktivitas. Dalam pengamatan di lapangan, ditemukan bahwa PT. Acset Indonusa Tbk mengalami penurunan kapasitas produksi alat berat pada pekerjaan galian dan timbunan. Penelitian ini membandingkan data produktivitas alat berat antara rencana dan aktual untuk pekerjaan galian dan timbunan STA 78+000 pada ruas Serang Barat - Cilegon Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi lapangan dan time study melalui pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder dengan metode kualitatif. Pada pekerjaan galian biasa, produktivitas bulldozer menurun sebesar 19,48 m³/jam (10,53%), excavator menurun sebesar 2,53 m³/jam (12,91%), dan dump truck menurun sebesar 0,52 m³/jam (4,84%). Sementara itu, pada pekerjaan timbunan biasa, excavator menunjukkan penurunan produktivitas sebesar 6,28 m³/jam (3,95%), vibro smooth drum roller sebesar 3,59 m³/jam (10,26%), vibro sheep foot roller sebesar 2,52 m³/jam (6,95%), dump truck sebesar 10,63 m³/jam (36,53%), dan motor grader sebesar 18,12 m³/jam (20,63%). Penurunan produktivitas ini mengindikasikan perlunya penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai pengaruh kondisi cuaca dan faktor lain terhadap produktivitas alat berat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi secara lebih efektif.
