Abstract

The development of a region's progress will always be accompanied by the growth of its economy and creative industry. These two factors are capable of advancing the economic value of the area, which in turn impacts the welfare of its community. Tangerang City has significant potential in the sectors of industry, trade, services, and the creative economy. According to BPS data from 2016, Tangerang City is one of the regions with the highest economic growth rate in Banten Province. To advance the creative economy of a region, it is necessary to build facilities that accommodate the creative ideas of creative economy actors and SMEs, focusing on product development, marketing accessibility, and improving product quality. With this focus, it is expected to facilitate and integrate all creative economy actors and SMEs in Tangerang into a creative hub built with the implementation of the millennial lifestyle. This design adopts a concept with a Biophilic Architecture approach, which signifies the freedom of expression from a mindset perspective. This concept is functional, efficient, and sustainable, utilizing natural materials and creating unique spatial atmospheres. This design study aims to design a building as an integrated creative hub for various creative economy actors in Tangerang and nationally. Perkembangan kemajuan suatu daerah akan selalu berdampingan dengan perkembangan ekonomi dan industri kreatif nya, dua hal ini lah yang mampu memajukan nilai ekonomi daerah yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Kota Tangerang memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor industri, perdagangan, jasa dan ekonomi kreatif. Menurut data BPS tahun 2016 Kota Tangerang merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi tertinggi di wilayah propinsi Banten. Untuk memajukan suatu ekonomi kreatif daerah diperlukan adanya pembangunan sarana yang mewadahi ide-ide kreatifitas para pelaku ekonomi kreatif dan UMKM yang terfokus pada pengembangan, aksebilitas pemasaran produk, dan menaikan mutu produk. Dengan fokus tersebut diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi serta mengintegrasikan seluruh pelaku ekonomi kreatif serta UMKM yang ada di Tangerang dalam sebuah ruang pusat kreatif yang dibangun dengan implementasi gaya hidup kaum milenial. Perancangan ini mengambil konsep dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Biophilic yang memiliki makna kebebasan ekspresi dari pola pikir. Karena konsep ini merupakan konsep yang fungsional, efisien dan keberlanjutan dengan penggunaan material alami dan penciptaan nuansa ruang yang berbeda. Kajian perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangunan sebagai pusat kreatif (creative space) yang terintegrasi dengan berbagai pelaku eknomi kreatif di Tangerang dan nasional.
