Abstract
Tropical architecture is a building that adapts to tropical climate conditions. Tropical architecture is one type of architectural design style that is the answer and form of building adaptation to climate conditions in a tropical area. Tropical climates are usually located near the equator and have special characteristics caused by high solar heat, high humidity and rainfall, wind movement, and many other influences. Resort Hotel Design on Jl. Raya Anyer-Sirih No.21, Cikoneng, Kec. Anyar, Serang Regency, Banten 42166. The location is a tourist area that is crowded with visitors from various cities. This coastal area faces the Sunda Strait which has several other beaches such as Anyer Beach. The coastal tourism area with a modern tropical architecture concept is expected to provide design results by applying the principles of modern tropical architecture and making local materials the right correlation. Keywords: Modern tropical architecture, Resort Hotel, Cibiru Beach. Arsitektur tropis adalah suatu bangunan yang mengadaptasi kondisi iklim tropis. Arsitektur tropis adalah jenis gaya desain arsitektur yang merupakan jawaban dan bentuk adaptasi bangunan terhadap kondisi iklim di suatu daerah tropis. Iklim tropis biasanya terletak di dekat garis khatulistiwa dan memiliki karakter khusus yang disebabkan oleh panas matahari yang tinggi, kelembapan dan curah hujan yang cukup tinggi, pergerakan angin, dan banyak pengaruh lainnya. Perancangan Hotel Resort di Jl. Raya Anyer-Sirih No.21, Cikoneng, Kec. Anyar, Kabupaten Serang, Banten 42166. Lokasi tersebut merupakan kawasan pariwisata yang ramai pengunjung dari berbagi kota. Kawasan pesisir pantai ini menghadap ke Selat Sunda yang terdapat beberapa pantai lainnya seperti Pantai Anyer. Kawasan wisata pesisir pantai yang berkonsep arsitektur tropis modern diharapkan dapat memberikan hasil rancangan dengan menerapkan prinsip dari arsitektur tropis modern dan serta menjadikan material lokal menjadi kolerasi yang tepat.
