Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa peran dan proses serta manfaat langsung dan tidak langsung Muhaimin Iskandar dalam mengembangkan personal branding melalui media Instagram CakIminNow ditelaah berdasarkan teori Pencitraan dengan metode penelitian studi kasus, jenis penelitiannya kualitatif-deskriptif menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme yang diukur dengan konsep pembentukan personal branding versi Peter Montoya dan Tim Vandehey. Hasil analisis peran Muhaimin Iskandar dalam mengembangkan personal branding melalui media instagram CakIminNow melalui polesan spesialisasi diri, jiwa kepemimpinan, berkepribadian, memiliki perbedaan, terlihat perjuangan yang konsisten, kesatuan isu diri, keteguhan, dan nama baik sebagaimana sudut pandang pembentukan Personal Branding Peter Montoya dan Tim Vandehey dan melalui metode komunikasi yang disusun dengan baik. Analisa penulis, akun Cak Imin Now menciptakan personal branding politik yang selaras dengan identitas yang diinginkan, para politisi, baik pimpinan partai, legislator, maupun anggota parlemen lainnya. Tim Media PKB dan Muhaimin Iskandar telah menggunakan pendekatan komunikasi tradisional dan digital. Penulis juga telah mengeksplorasi tidak ada kesulitan dalam memisahkan personal branding Muhaimin Iskandar dari partainya dan menganggap bahwa penyelarasan ini selaras antara individualitas personal branding dengan mempertahankan pesan dan komunikasi partainya. This research aims to analyze the role and process as well as the direct and indirect benefits of Muhaimin Iskandar in developing personal branding through Instagram CakIminNow media which is examined based on Imaging theory with a case study research method, the type of research is qualitative-descriptive using the constructivism paradigm which is measured by the concept of personal branding formation according to Peter Montoya and Tim Vandehey. The results of the analysis of Muhaimin Iskandar's role in developing personal branding through CakIminNow Instagram media through the polish of self-specialization, leadership spirit, personality, having differences, visible consistent struggle, unity of self-issue, steadfastness, and good name as per the perspective of Peter Montoya and Tim's Personal Branding formation Vandehey and through well- crafted communication methods. The author's analysis shows that the Cak Imin Now account creates political personal branding that is in line with the desired identity of politicians, both party leaders, legislators and other members of parliament. The PKB Media Team and Muhaimin Iskandar have used traditional and digital communication approaches. The author has also explored that there is no difficulty in separating Muhaimin Iskandar's personal branding from his party and considers that this alignment is in harmony between the individuality of his personal branding and maintaining his party's message and communication.
