Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of return on assets, current ratio and total assets turnover on price book value. The population in this study are oil, gas and coal sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2016- 2021 period, totaling 15 companies according to the characteristics determined by the researchers. Selection of the sample using the saturated sample method and obtained 15 companies. The data collection method uses data triangulation, using the company's annual financial reports obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) website and each company's website. The research design is causality research using panel data regression using the selected model approach, namely the common effect model. The results showed that the variable return on assets and total asset turnover had an effect on the price book value while the current ratio variable had no effect on the price book value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh return on assets, current ratio dan total assets turn over terhadap price book value. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor minyak, gas dan batu bara yang tercatat di bursa efek indonesia periode 2016-2021 yang berjumlah 15 perusahaan sesuai dengan karakteristik yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dan didapatkan 15 perusahaan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan trigulasi data, dengan menggunakan laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan yang diperoleh dari situs Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan masing – masing website perusahaan. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian kausalitas dengan menggunakan regresi data panel dengan menggunakan penedekatan model yang terpilih yaitu common effect model. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel return on asset dan total asset turn over berpengaruh positif terhadap price book value sedangkan variabel current ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap price book value.
