Abstract
The decline in the quality of clean water or the occurrence of water pollution is due to a lack of awareness in the community in preserving clean water. In connection with water problems, water company partners are needed to find out information about what causes the decline in water quality or water pollution. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is known that the socialization of PERUMDAM TKR can provide education in the introduction of clean water completely and specifically. This is one of the efforts that can be made by the local government to increase the awareness of the nation's next generation in preserving clean water. The results of this research, followed by analyzing 2 types of children's illustration books related to the introduction of clean water education, each book has differences in terms of potential information and visual strategies, this is because PERUMDAM TKR does not yet have a children's illustration book. The design is able to increase public awareness about clean water, especially in educating children. Educational information contained in the design can introduce children to the important role of clean water that must be maintained, by not littering. Keywords: Introduction to Clean Water, Illustration Book, Children Penurunan kualitas air bersih atau terjadinya pencemaran air, disebabkan karena kurangnya kesadaran pada masyarakat dalam melestarikan air bersih. Berkaitan dengan masalah air, dibutuhkannya mitra perusahaan air untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai apa penyebab dari penurunan kualitas air atau pencemaran air. Berdasarkan hasil riset yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa sosialisasi PERUMDAM TKR dapat memberikan edukasi dalam pengenalan air bersih secara lengkap dan spesifik. Hal ini menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran para generasi penerus bangsa dalam melestarikan air bersih. Hasil riset ini, diikuti dengan menganalisis 2 jenis buku ilustrasi anak yang berkaitan dengan edukasi pengenalan air bersih, masingmasing buku memiliki perbedaan dari segi potensi informasi dan strategi visual, hal ini dikarenakan PERUMDAM TKR belum memiliki buku ilustrasi anak. Perancangan yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang air bersih, khususnya dalam mengedukasi anak-anak. Informasi edukasi yang tertuang pada perancangan dapat mengenalkan anak-anak dari peran penting air bersih yang harus dijaga kualitasnya, dengan cara tidak membuang sampah sembarangan.
