Abstract
The company is experiencing delays in providing product units to customers. These delays are caused by non-value-added activities in several stages of assembly and the provision of sales documents. Delays in product provision, including raw materials, semi-finished goods, or finished goods, can result in delays in the production process. The objective of this research is to reduce waste in the company caused by waiting activities using the Lean Service approach. The research methods used are Value Stream Mapping (VSM), the Waste Assessment Model (WAM), and the 5W+1H technique. The results of the current state mapping show value-added (VA) activities amounting to 4360.6 seconds, necessary but non-valueadded (NNVA) activities totaling 287.6 seconds, and non-value-added (NVA) activities totaling 736.4 seconds. The WAM results indicate the three highest wastes are defect waste, inventory waste, and motion waste. Improvement recommendations using the 5W+1H method were applied to these three wastes by creating guidelines or standard operating procedures (SOPs), making a delivery checklist, performing double checks, implementing the 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) methodology, and conducting routine checks of sales data and demand. The future state mapping results show a reduction in cycle time by 1128.4 seconds or 18.80 minutes. Keywords: Lean Service, Waste, VSM, WAM Perusahaan mengalami masalah berupa keterlambatan penyediaan produk unit kepada konsumen. Hasil current state mapping menunjukan kegiatan value added (VA) sebesar 4360.6 detik, necessary but non value added (NNVA) sebesar 287.6 detik, dan non value added (NVA) sebesar 736,4 detik.
