Abstract
Classroom is an important factor in creating a learning process as expected. Physical facilities not only in the lecture hall but should be so arranged that lead to a comfortable learning atmosphere. New Media Tower Building, University of Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) is one of the universities that have a number of students a lot. Seeing these conditions, certainly needs no small lecture hall. In addition, the availability of physical facilities were comfortable and ergonomically designed to support learning. Evaluation in the review based on the physical comfort of classrooms and students' perceptions about physical comfort in the classroom. The study was conducted to determine how to evaluate the comfort of classrooms at UMN if in view of the perception of students. This study uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data obtained from this study is the quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data in the form of a description of a classroom setting based on the visibility, flexibility, accessibility and comfort. As well as quantitative data such as measurements of classrooms and filling the questionnaire to students UMN. The results showed that the proportion of classrooms by students' perceptions shows the results Pleasant (76.4%), the size of the furniture with the result Pleasant (75.35%), neatness with results Pleasant (77.86%), classroom furniture with results Pleasant (77.26%), and the circulation of the results comfortable (77.46%). But the proportion is found that the classroom has a capacity that exceeds the standards set. Ruang kuliah yang nyaman merupakan faktor penting dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran sesuai harapan. Sarana fisik tidak hanya sekedar ada di dalam ruang kuliah tetapi harus ditata sedemikian rupa sehingga menimbulkan suasana belajar yang nyaman. Gedung New Media Tower, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) merupakan salah satu universitas yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang banyak. Melihat kondisi tersebut, pastinya dibutuhkan ruang kuliah yang tidak sedikit. Selain itu, tersedianya sarana fisik yang nyaman dan ergonomis untuk menunjang pembelajara. Evaluasi di tinjau berdasarkan kenyamanan fisik ruang kelas serta persepsi mahasiswa tentang kenyamanan fisik di ruang kelasnya. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana evaluasi kenyamanan ruang kuelas di UMN jika di lihat dari persepsi mahasiswanya.. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi mengenai penataan ruang kelas berdasarkan visibilitas, fleksibilitas, aksesibilitas, dan kenyamanan.Serta data kuantitatif berupa pengukuran ruang kelas dan pengisian kuisioner terhadap mahasiswa UMN. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proporsi ruang kelas menurut persepsi mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil Nyaman (76.4%), ukuran perabot dengan hasil Nyaman (75.35%), kerapihan dengan hasil Nyaman (77.86%), perabot kelas dengan hasil Nyaman (77.26%), dan sirkulasi dengan hasil Nyaman (77.46%). Akan tetapi pada proporsi di temukan bahwa ruang kelas memiliki kapasitas yang melebihi standar yang di tetapkan. Pada penataan ruang kelas UMN telah terjadi penataan ruang kelas yang telah memenuhi ke empat faktor tersebut.
