Abstract
Thie purpose of this reasearch is to explain and discuss the history of building formation that influenced the architectural formation of the Jami Angke mosque, one of the historical and cultural heritage buildings protected by the Monument Law (Ordonantie Stbl Monument) Number 238 of 1931 and reinforced by the KDKI Governor Decree on January 10 1972. Jami Angke Mosque is located on Tubagus Angke Street RT 001 RW 05, Kampung Rawa Bebek, Angke Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta Municipality, DKI Jakarta Province. The article is also intended to provide more knowledge to the community in order to provide appreciation for the cultural heritage buildings, especially the Jami Angke mosque. Data obtained from several literature studies conducted. Some of the history based on the literature and the form that is formed seems to be closely related. Therefore, in this paper articles are written with descriptive methods with interpretive criticism based on written sources. In conclusion, behind the architectural style of the Jami Angke mosque, the historical values are kept strong due to the history of the area and the process of establishing this old mosque. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendiskusikan sejarah terbentuknya bangunan yang memengaruhi pembentukan langgam Arsitektur masjid Jami Angke, salah satu bangunan cagar budaya dan bersejarah yang dilindungi oleh UU Monumen (Monumen Ordonantie Stbl) Nomor 238 tahun 1931 serta diperkuat oleh SK Gubernur KDKI Jakarta tanggal 10 Januari 1972. Masjid Jami Angke terletak di Jalan Tubagus Angke RT 001 RW 05, Kampung Rawa Bebek, Kelurahan Angke, Kecamatan Tambora, Kotamadya Jakarta Barat, Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Artikel juga dimaksudkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan yang lebih kepada masyarakat agar dapat memberikan nilai apresiasi terhadap bangunan cagar budaya khususnya masjid Jami Angke. Data diperoleh dari beberapa studi literatur yang dilakukan. Beberapa sejarah berdasarkan literatur dan langgam yang terbentuk terlihat memiliki keterkaitan yang erat. Oleh karena itu, pada makalah ini artikel ditulis dengan metode deskriptif dengan kritik interpretatif berdasarkan sumber-sumber tertulis. Pada kesimpulan, dibalik langgam arsitektur masjid Jami Angke yang terbentuk tersimpan kuat nilai -nilai sejarah karena sejarah kawasan dan proses pendirian masjid tua ini.
