Abstract
Patching a tire is one thing that is done when a tire has a leak, especially a waterboom tire. One thing that is often encountered when a tire has a leak is that the final factor that causes the tire to leak is a blunt object that is rubbed against the ceramic surface. However, there are several things to pay attention to when patching a tire, namely techniques and the use of tools that can make the process of gluing or attaching it to the tire media being repaired easier. Based on the results of experience encountered when patching a tire, namely the process of gluing and attaching it to the tire media, namely the patch layer on the side which is not completely glued and does not stick firmly to the tire media, therefore tools are needed in the form of heavy objects in the form of stones, hammers, etc. hit the surface of the tire and a mineral water bottle filled with water to make it easier to attach the patch layer to the tire media. The design of the waterboom tire repair tool will facilitate the need to patch and repair tires that have leaks by prioritizing pressure that can help the process of attaching the patch layer to the tire media and a solution for the use part that uses items that use PVC material in the process of attaching the layer to the repaired media. Menambal ban menjadi salah satu yang dilakukan saat ban mengalami kebocoran khususnya ban waterboom, hal sering ditemui saat ban mengalami kebocoran yaitu faktor pengujung yang membuat ban tersebut mengalami kebocoran yaitu benda tumpul dan digesekan ke permukaan keramik. Namun ada beberapa yang di perhatikan saat menambal ban yaitu Teknik dan pengunaan alat yang dapat memudahkan saat proses perekatan atau penempelan pada media ban yang sedang di perbaiki. Berdasarkan hasil pengalaman yang temui saat menambal ban yaitu proses pengleman dan penempelan ke media ban yaitu lapisan tambalan pada bagian sisi samping yang tidak merekat sempurna dan tidak menempel kuat pada media ban, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan alat bantu berupa benda yang berat berupa batu, palu yang di pukulkan ke permukaan ban dan botol air mineral yang terisi air agar memudahkan saat proses penempelan lapisan tambal ke media ban. Rancangan alat bantu tambal ban waterboom akan memudahkan kebutuhan dalam menambal dan meperbaiki ban yang mengalami kebocoran dengan mengutamakan penekanan yang dapat membantu proses penempelan lapisan tambal ke media ban dan solusi bagian pengunan yang mengunakan barang yang mengunakan material pvc dalam proses penempelan lapisan ke media yang di perbaiki.
