Abstract
Pariwisata memiliki peran krusial dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam era digital, peran website Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Agam menjadi semakin vital untuk mengoptimalkan operasional dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini membahas penerapan Business Process Reengineering (BPR) pada pengembangan website sebagai solusi strategis untuk merancang ulang proses bisnis secara menyeluruh. Berdasarkan analisis proses bisnis As-Is menggunakan metode PIECES, dirancang model bisnis baru untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas layanan website dalam bentuk diagram BPMN. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang teridentifikasi, seperti kurangnya fitur user, pengisian biodata yang berulang-ulang, proses konfirmasi pemesanan manual, dan keterbatasan layanan informasi. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BPR dapat mengurangi jumlah aktivitas proses bisnis, mempercepat waktu pemrosesan, dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan secara keseluruhan. Implementasi BPR diharapkan memberikan pengembalian investasi yang signifikan melalui peningkatan pendapatan dan pengurangan biaya operasional. Tourism plays a crucial role in local economic growth and community welfare. In the digital era, the role of the website of the Tourism Office of Agam Regency has become increasingly vital to optimize operations and enhance community participation. This study discusses the application of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in website development as a strategic solution to comprehensively redesign business processes. Based on the analysis of the As-Is business process using the PIECES method, a new business model was designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of website services in the form of BPMN diagrams. This design aims to address various identified issues, such as the lack of user features, repetitive entry of biodata, manual booking confirmation processes, and limited information services. The analysis results show that the application of BPR can reduce the number of business process activities, speed up processing times, and improve overall service quality. The implementation of BPR is expected to provide a significant return on investment through increased revenue and reduced operational costs.
