Abstract

The Morgen Company is a company operating in the lighting and electrical sector which is under PT. Favorite Indonesia (lighting) & PT. Favorite Sukses Plastindo (Electrical) which was founded in 1994 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Electrical and lighting play an important role in supporting the main needs of human activities in daily life. Therefore, we provide quality electrical and lighting products that are safe to use in everyday life, can last a long time, and of course have affordable prices. Currently sales at PT. Favorite Indonesia still uses the manual method for shop visits, still takes photos as usual and then includes the time and date in the photo. This also results in the number of MTTR (Mean time to repair) sales visits to the shop not being achieved, and this has an impact on penalties by the company. This research aims to design a tracking information system for sales visits to the shop. This research uses qualitative research methods because this method is considered easier when dealing with reality directly. In analyzing problems using the PIECES method. The result of this research is the design of a sales tracking system application program that can be used as an alternative in providing a new system that is easier and more efficient. Perusahaan Morgen merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang lighting dan electrical yang berada dibawah PT. FavoriteIndonesia (lighting) & PT. Favorite Sukses Plastindo (Electrical) yang berdiri pada tahun 1994 di Jakarta, Indonesia. Electrical dan Lighting berperan penting sebagai penunjang kebutuhan utama aktifitas manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, menyediakan produk electrical dan lighting yang berkualitas yang aman digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dapat bertahan lama, dan tentunyamemiliki harga yang terjangkau. Saat ini sales di PT. Favorite Indonesia masih menggunakan cara yang manual untuk kunjungan toko, masih foto seperti biasa lalu mencantumkan jam dan tanggal di dalam foto. Hal ini juga mengakibatkan banyaknya MTTR (Mean time to repair) kunjungan sales ke toko menjadi tidak tercapai, dan berpengaruh terhadap Pinalty oleh perusahaan.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi tracking untuk sales kunjungan ke toko. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif karena metode ini dianggap lebih mudah apabila berhadapan dengan kenyataan secara langsung. Dalam menganalisis permasalahan menggunakan metode PIECES. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perancangan program aplikasi system tracking sales yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam menyediakan sistem yang baru yang lebih mudah dan efisien.
