Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of training and motivation on performance with competency as a mediating variable in Communication and Informatics civil servants. Research Design: using a saturated sample of 55 employees, analysis was carried out quantitatively using the questionnaire collection method. Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used as an analysis method and Smart – PLS 4.0.9.6 is used as an analysis tool. Research Results: Competence has a significant positive effect on Performance, Motivation has no effect on Performance, Motivation has a significant positive effect on Competency, Training has a significant positive effect on Performance, Training has a significant positive effect on Competency, Competency is able to partially mediate the effect of training on performance, and Competency is able fully mediate the influence of motivation on performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pada PNS Komunikasi dan Informatika dengan kompetensi sebagai variabel mediasi. Desain Penelitian: menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 55 karyawan, analisis dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan kuesioner. Structural Equation Model (SEM) digunakan sebagai metode analisis dan Smart – PLS 4.0.9.6 digunakan sebagai alat analisis. Hasil penelitian : kompetensi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja, motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, motivasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kompetensi, pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja, pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kompetensi, kompetensi mampu memediasi secara parsial pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja, dan kompetensi mampu memediasi secara penuh pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja.
