Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between proactive personality with innovative work behavior in millennial generation employees. This study uses quantitative research design and the type of research used is correlational. The criteria for respondents in this study are millennial generation employees born in the 1980s to 2000 or can be referred to as Generation Y. The measurement tool used is innovative Work Behavior to measure innovative work behavior and proactive personality. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between proactive personality variables to innovative work behavior in millennial generation employees. Significant value in the correlation test of 0.000 or r = 0.676; p<0.05 which means there is a positive relationship between the variables of Innovative Work behavior to proactive personality variables. Keywords: proactive personality, innovative work behavior, millennial generation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dengan perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan generasi milenial. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitaf dan jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Kriteria responden dalam penelitia ini adalah karyawan generasi milenial yang lahir pada tahun 1980-an hingga tahun 2000 atau bisa disebut sebagai generasi Y. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Innvovative Work Behaviour untuk mengukur perilaku kerja inovatif dan Kepribadian proaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara variabel kepribadian proaktif terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan generasi milenial. Nilai signifikan pada uji korelasi sebesar 0,000 atau r = 0.676; p<0.05 yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel innovative work behaviour terhadap variabel kepribadian proaktif. Kata Kunci: Kepribadian proaktif, innvovative work behaviour, generasi milenial.
