Abstract

Unsignalized intersection Jl. Babakan Madang is one of the intersections that is always busy because there are several movement centers such as the Az-zikra Mosque, Haris Hotel, SICC multipurpose building which serves quite high traffic flows. Road sections at unsignalized intersections Jl. Babakan Madang is an alternative route for tourists from outside Bogor who want to get to the Bogor peak area. This unsignalized intersection consists of three arms that connect sections of Jl. Babakan Madang, and the Jl. MH Thamrin section. Congestion conditions at this intersection occur during rush hours in the afternoon and evening. Research on the performance of the intersection of Jl. Babakan Madang with the type of intersection 3 arm intersections with 2 lanes of minor roads and 2 lanes of main roads without road medians, aims to determine the performance of intersections, to determine the level of intersection service and to find out what improvement solutions can be applied to reduce congestion. This research method uses the performance analysis method for unsignalized intersections in the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). From the results of analysis using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI), it was found that the highest traffic volume occurred on Sunday, August 20 2023 at 16:00 – 17:00 with a total of 1617 pcu/hour. The intersection saturation degree value of 0.86 is Level of Service E with a queuing opportunity of 30% -64%. This shows that the capacity of the unsignalized intersection Jl. Babakan Madang is past saturation. Through calculations with 3 (three) alternatives, an alternative solution was obtained to increase the level of service at the intersection in alternative 3, namely by providing no-stop traffic signs and adding a median on the main road where there is a decrease in the degree of saturation at the unsignalized intersection Jl. Babakan Madang is 0.62 with a Level of Service C value with a queue chance of 17% - 41%. Keywords : Non-signaling Intersections, MKJI 1997, Degree of Saturation Simpang Tak Bersinyal Jl. Babakan Madang adalah salah satu persimpangan yang selalu ramai karena terdapat beberapa pusat pergerakan seperti Masjid Az-zikra, Hotel Haris, Gedung serbaguna SICC yang melayani arus lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi. Ruas-ruas jalan pada Simpang Tak Bersinyal Jl. Babakan Madang ini merupakan jalan alternatif wisatawan dari luar Bogor yang ingin menuju area puncak Bogor. Simpang Tak Bersinyal ini terdiri dari tiga lengan yang menghubungkan ruas Jl. Babakan Madang, dan ruas Jl.MH Thamrin. Kondisi kemacetan pada simpang ini terjadi pada jam-jam sibuk di siang dan sore hari. Penelitian mengenai kinerja persimpangan Jl. Babakan Madang dengan tipe simpang 3 lengan simpang dengan 2 lajur jalan minor dan 2 lajur jalan utama tanpa median jalan, bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja simpang, untuk mengetahui tingkat pelayanan simpang dan untuk mengetahui solusi perbaikan apa yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengurangi kemacetan. Metode penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode analisa kinerja simpang tak bersinyal pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 didapatkan volume lalu-lintas tertinggi terjadi pada hari minggu tanggal 20 Agustus 2023 pada jam 16:00 – 17:00 dengan total 1617 smp/jam. Nilai derajat kejenuhan simpang sebesar 0,86 bernilai Level of Service E dengan peluang antrian 30%-64%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kapasitas simpang tak bersinyal Jl. Babakan Madang adalah lewat jenuh. Melalui perhitungan dengan 3 (tiga) alternatif, didapatkan solusi alternatif untuk peningkatan tingkat pelayanan simpang pada alternatif 3 yaitu dengan memberi rambu lalu lintas dilarang berhenti dan menambahkan median pada jalan utama dimana terjadi penurunan derajat kejenuhan pada simpang tak bersinyal Jl. Babakan Madang menjadi 0,62 dengan nilai Level of Service C dengan peluang antrian 17% - 41%. Kata kunci: Simpang Tak Bersinyal, MKJI 1997, Derajat Kejenuhan (DS)
