Abstract

A Mosque is a place where Muslims worship, the worship performed by Muslims is five time in a day. So that the mosque became one of the buildings that are often visited and visited by Muslims. While in the mosque, comfort becomes an important factor against the religious rituals performed by Muslims. One of the comforts to be met is thermal comfort. Thermal comfort is influenced by several factors, one of which is the building design and also the facade design. This study discusses the influence of facade design to thermal that occurred at the Mosque of Sahid Nurul Iman, Jakarta. The mosque is in a busy neighborhood, there are shopping centers, hotels, apartments and also the majority of offices. So that the mosque is the majority of office workers who are in this neighborhood. This research was conducted for three days, during one day the researchers made measurements with the tools that have been determined in three rush hour, also conducted observations during the mosque assisted by the documentation, then the results of measurement data simulated through http: //comfort.cbe.berkeley .edu / to know the impact of the opening to the mosque's thermal. The result of this research is that the design of openings at Sahid Nurul Iman Mosque has been designed optimally, but because the user has no control over the size of the openings, resulting in the extreme weather the user's comfort level becomes disturbed. In addition, the surrounding environment also affects the thermal in the building of Sahid Nurul Iman Mosque. Where there are many high-walled glass buildings, resulting in the reflection of the walls increases the radiation that occurs on the walls of Sahid Nurul Iman Mosque. Also the lack of shade trees, resulting in minimal reduction of solar radiation. Keyword: Thermal, Mosque, Façade Design Masjid adalah tempat ibadah bagi umat muslim, ibadah yang dilakukan oleh umat muslim adalah lima waktu dalam satu hari. Sehingga masjid menjadi salah satu bangunan yang sering dikunjungi dan disinggahi oleh umat muslim. Selama berada di dalam masjid, kenyamanan menjadi faktor penting terhadap kekhusyu’an ibadah yang dilakukan oleh umat muslim. Salah satu kenyamanan yang harus dipenuhi adalah kenyamanan termal. Kenyamanan termal dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah desain bangunan dan juga desain bukaan. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh desain bukaan terhadap termal yang terjadi pada Masjid Sahid Nurul Iman, Jakarta. Masjid ini berada di lingkungan yang sibuk, terdapat pusat perbelanjaan, hotel, apartemen dan juga mayoritas perkantoran. Sehinga yang menggunakan masjid ini mayoritas adalah pekerja perkantoran yang berada di lingkungan ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga hari, selama sehari peneliti melakukan pengukuran dengan alat yang telah ditentukan di tiga waktu jam sibuk masjid, juga dilakukan observasi selama di Masjid tersebut dibantu dengan dokumentasi, kemudian hasil data pengukuran disimulasikan melalui http://comfort.cbe.berkeley.edu/ untuk mengetahui dampak bukaan terhadap termal masjid tersebut. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah ternyata desain bukaan pada Masjid Sahid Nurul Iman sudah di desain cukup optimal, namun dikarenakan pengguna tidak mempunyai kontrol terhadap besar kecilnya bukaan, mengakibatkan pada saat cuaca agak ekstrim tingkat kenyamanan pengguna jadi terganggu. Selain itu lingkungan sekitar juga ikut mempengaruhi termal dalam bangunan Masjidini. Dimana terdapat banyak bangunan tinggi berdinding kaca, mengakibatkan pantulan dari dinding tersebut meningkatkan radiasi yang terjadi pada dinding Masjid Sahid Nurul Iman. Juga minimnya pohon rindang, mengakibatkan minimnya reduksi dari radiasi matahari. Kata Kunci : Termal, Masjid, Desain Bukaan
