Abstract

Concrete is a construction material that has been commonly used for buildings, bridges, roads, etc. Stone ash as a substitute for fine aggregate in the form of sand is processed from the remaining material that has been used. Good quality concrete has several advantages including high compressive strength, resistance to rusting or decay by environmental conditions, wear resistance, and to weather (heat, cold, sunlight, rain). The method used in this research is the substitution of stone ash for sand in the concrete composition determined by adding the percentage of stone ash. Where the percentage of the use of stone ash is determined as 0%, 25%, 50%, of the amount of sand used. The results of compressive strength and performance of fc 30 concrete using 25 mm coarse aggregate gradation at 0% stone ash mixture amounted to 39.39 MPa. 25% stone ash mixture had a compressive strength of 27.07 MPa with a decrease in compressive strength of 3.27%, 50% stone ash mixture amounted to 24.59 MPaa with a decrease in compressive strength of 11%, so it is not recommended to use a mixture of stone ash more than 25% because it does not achieve compressive strength and concrete performance that does not meet the quality target. Keywords: Stone ash, compressive strength Beton merupakan salah satu bahan konstruksi yang telah umum digunakan untuk bangunan gedung, jembatan, jalan, dll. Abu batu sebagai pengganti agregat halus berupa pasir yang diproses dari sisa bahan material yang sudah terpakai. Beton yang bermutu baik mempunyai beberapa kelebihan diantaranya mempunyai kuat tekan tinggi, tahan terhadap pengkaratan atau pembusukan oleh kondisi lingkungan, tahan aus, dan terhadap cuaca (panas, dingin, sinar matahari, hujan). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah subtitusi abu batu terhadap pasir dalam komposisi beton ditentukan dengan penambahan persentase abu batu. Dimana persentase dari penggunaan abu batu ditentukan sebesar 0%, 25%, 50%, dari jumlah pasir yang digunakan. Hasil kuat tekan dan kinerja beton fc 30 dengan memakai gradasi agregat kasar 25 mm pada campuran abu batu 0% sebesar 39,39 MPa. Campuaran abu batu 25% kuat tekan sebesar 27,07 MPa dengan penurunan kuat tekan 3.27%, campuaran abu batu 50% sebesar 24,59 MPa dengan penurunan kuat tekan 11%. Maka tidak disarankan penggunaan campuran abu batu lebih dari 25% karena tidak tercapainya kuat tekan dan kinerja beton yang tidak sesuai target mutu. Kata kunci : Abu batu,Kuat tekan
