Abstract

In mining activities to achieve production targets, it is necessary to support the unit tool with high tool readiness and with a prime tool position, maintenance in heavy equipment is an activity that cannot be ignored because if ignored it will incur enormous costs, especially in this research case study, it can cost the company around the average monthly at Rp.2,092,648,242. Referring to previous research which concluded that the maintenance of heavy equipment units must have three important parameters in the mining world, especially the Plant department, the first is physical availability, the second is mean time between failure and the last is mean time to repair. This research will examine the problems that are currently occurring at PT XYZ Site Kalimantan Prima Coal in the Torque rod and Radius rod section, where the two components are very important components for mining unit tools, especially the HD785-7 dump truck because of the frequent occurrence of unscheduled breakdowns of these components which result in the HD785-7 unit tool cannot be used to pursue coal or overburden production. From the simulation results of the calculation of tools for Special Tools using the stress analysis method, the 3rd Design results were obtained with a safety factor of 2.458 times with a load of 2.2 tons, and there was an acceleration of the leadtime for the Torque Rod Pin removal which was originally 4 manpower with an average of 8.5 hours with a risk matrix B and after the Special Tool at 2.9 hours with a risk matrix to C, so that the MTBF KPI increased from September 2022 158.3 hours to the peak point in June 2023 at 202 hours, finally the BUS frequency due to Torque Rod and Radius rod can decrease to 0. Dalam kegaitan pertambangan untuk mencapai target produksi diperlukannya support alat unit dengan kesiapan alat yang tinggi serta dengan posisi alat yang prima, maintenance dalam alat berat merupakan suatu aktvitas yang tidak bisa diabaikan karena jika diabaikan akan mengeluarkan biaya yang sangat besar khususnya dalam studi kasus penelitian ini dapat merugikan perusahaan sekitar average perbulan di Rp.2.092.648.242. Merujuk pada penelitian sebelumnya yang disimpulkan tentang maintenance unit alat berat harus memiliki tiga parameter penting dalam dunia pertambangan khususnya bagian department Plant, yang pertama ada physical availability, yang kedua ada mean time between failure serta yang terakihir ada mean time to repair. Untuk penelitian ini akan meneliti problem yang sedang terjadi pada PT XYZ Site Kalimantan Prima Coal di bagian torque rod dan radius rod yang mana kedua komponen tersebut merupakan komponen yang sangat penting bagi alat unit pertambangan khususnya dump truck HD785-7 karena sering terjadinya breakdown unscheduled pada komponen tersebut yang mengakibatkan alat unit HD785-7 tidak bisa dipakai untuk mengejar poduksi batubara atau overburden. Dari hasil simulasi perhitungan alat untuk special tool menggunakan metode stress analysis maka didapatkan hasil Design ke 3 dengan safety factor 2,458 kali dengan beban 2,2 Ton, dan adanya percepatan leadtime untuk pelepasan Pin Torque Rod yang awalnya 4 manpower dengan average 8,5 jam dengan matrix resiko B dan sesudah adanya special tool di 2,9 Jam dengan matrix resiko menjadi C, sehingga KPI MTBF meningkat dari bulan September 2022 158,3 jam sampai ke titik puncak di juni 2023 di 202 jam, akhirnya frekuensi BUS akibat torque rod dan radius rod dapat menurun menjadi 0.
