Abstract

Sexual education is still considered taboo in this day and age. Often parents feel reluctant and uncomfortable answering when children ask about sexual questions and change the subject because parents still think that children are not ready to understand things related to sexuality. This phenomenon often occurs because talking about sex is considered taboo and is considered to encourage teenagers to have sexual intercourse. Sexual education is about a very broad thing, how we know our bodies, how we know our boundaries, and how we respect others and their boundaries. Comics are a collection of characters that are created in an organized manner and arranged to reveal the characters created in the story to enhance the reader's imagination. Comics can be used as a means to provide sexual education. The focus of this design is how comics can provide knowledge and information about sexual education to teenagers. Keywords: Sexual Education, Comics, Digital Comics Pendidikan seksual masih dianggap tabu di zaman sekarang. Seringkali orang tua merasa enggan dan risih menjawab ketika anak bertanya mengenai pertanyaan seksual dan mengubah topik pembicaraan karena orang tua masih menganggap bahwa anak belum siap untuk memahami hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan seksualitas. Fenomena ini sering terjadi karena membicarakan seks dianggap tabu dan dianggap mendorong remaja untuk melakukan hubungan seksual. Edukasi seksual adalah tentang hal yang sangat luas, bagaimana kita mengenal tubuh kita, bagaimana kita mengetahui batasan diri kita, dan bagaimana kita menghormati orang lain dan batasannya. Komik merupakan kumpulan karakter yang dibuat secara teratur dan disusun untuk mengungkapkan karakter yang diciptakan dalam cerita guna meningkatkan imajinasi pembaca. Komik dapat dijadikan sarana untuk memberikan pendidikan seksual. Fokus perancangan ini adalah bagaimana komik dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi mengenai pendidikan seksual kepada remaja.
