Abstract

Current technological developments make everyone's work easier, technological developments also do not escape the availability of various information. Data is an important factor in the development of information technology today, with data it can make it easier for people to access the information needed, not only information, data can also be used for various needs, between predictions and business needs, through data prediction, an organization or can identify opportunities and manage business operations well. So in this study, the author wants to present an information dashboard using the star schema data warehouse model. The author will compile a data warehouse model star schema using a dataset from the International Coffee Organization (ICO) which contains data on the production, consumption, import and export of coffee in the world. From the results of the data warehouse modeling, the author will create an information dashboard. So with this research, the author hopes to provide information for entrepreneurs to be able to start a coffee-based product business without making mistakes in making decisions in the future. Keywords: Data warehouse, Star schema, Dashboard, Information, Coffee Perkembangan teknologi saat ini membuat pekerjaan setiap orang menjadi lebih mudah, perkembangan teknologi juga tidak luput dari tersedianya berbagai informasi. Data merupakan faktor penting dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini, dengan adanya data dapat mempermudah masyarakat untuk mengakses informasi yang diperlukan, tidak hanya informasi, data juga dapat digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan, antara lain prediksi dan kebutuhan bisnis, melalui prediksi data, sebuah organisasi atau bisnis dapat mengidentifikasi peluang dan mengelola operasi bisnis dengan baik. Maka pada penelitian ini, penulis ingin menyajikan sebuah informasi dengan menggunakan data warehouse model star schema. Penulis akan menyusun data warehouse model star schema menggunakan dataset dari International Coffee Organization (ICO) yang berisi data produksi, konsumsi, impor dan ekspor kopi di dunia. Dari hasil pemodelan data warehouse tersebut, penulis akan membuat dashboard informasi. Maka dengan adanya penelitian ini, penulis mengharapkan dapat memberikan informasi untuk wirausahawan untuk dapat memulai bisnis produk berbahan kopi tanpa salah dalam mengambil keputusan kedepannya.
