Abstract

The development of television soap operas in Indonesia is currently very rapid. Soap operas generally tell stories about everyday human life which is filled with conflict. The ending of a soap opera can be happy or sad, depending on the storyline determined by the screenwriter. Thus, the soap opera that will be discussed in this research is the soap opera "From Window of SMP" which was broadcast on June 29 2020 on SCTV. The advantage of the soap opera "From Window of SMP" is that it once occupied the top 5 ratings in Indonesia, namely around TVR 3.2 and TVS 21. The research approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive qualitative research is an approach that is suitable for the research conducted by the author. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Martapura which had 311 students and female students. Of the 121 female students, the author chose 4 female students, namely Zahra, Nissa, Kia, and Irma, as sources. And 1 teenager not school named Putri. By conducting interviews at SMPN 2 Martapura because the aim was to find out the opinions of the five sources to provide responses and suggestions related to the soap opera scenes "From the SMP Window" in episodes 271 and 651. Apart from that, I also wanted to know how the sources would respond if they were included as victim in a bullying problem and wants to know the response. The theory in the research uses Dominant Position, Negotiation Position, and Opposition Position according to Stuart Hall's theory. From all the results that the author has obtained from interviews regarding the informant's reception of the bullying scene in the soap opera "From the SMP Window" there are different opinions, the first is the reception of informants Zahra, Kia, and Nissa who agree that the scene is a bullying scene because they are in a dominant position of hegemony. It is explained that the audience will receive the overall meaning created by the creator of the message or program. Keywords: Audience, Bully, Reception, Soap Opera. Perkembangan sinetron televisi di Indonesia saat ini sangat pesat. Sinetron pada umumnya bercerita tentang kehidupan manusia sehari-hari yang diwarnai konflik. Dengan demikian, sinetron yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini yakni sinetron “Dari Jendela SMP” yang ditayangkan pada tanggal 29 Juni 2020 di SCTV, keunggulan dari sintetron “Dari Jendela SMP” adalah pernah menduduki rating 5 besar di Indonesia yaitu sekitar TVR 3,2 dan TVS 21. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif merupakan pendekatan yang cocok dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Martapura yang memiliki 311 siswa dan siswi. Dari 121 siswi tersebut penulis memilih 4 siswi yaitu bernama Zahra, Nissa, Kia, dan Irma untuk sebagai narasumber. Serta 1 anak remaja yang tidak bersekolah bernama Putri. Dengan melakukan wawancara di SMPN 2 Martapura karena memiliki tujuan yaitu ingin mengetahui pendapat dari kelima narasumber untuk memberikan tanggapan dan saran terkait pada adegan sinetron “Dari Jendela SMP” di episode 271 dan 651 selain itu juga, ingin mengetahui bagaimana tanggapan dari para narasumber jika termasuk menjadi korban dalam permasalahan pembullyan dan ingin mengetahui dari tanggapan. Teori dalam penelitian menggunakan Posisi Dominan, posisi Negosiasi, dan posisi Oposisi dalam menurut teori Stuart Hall. Dari seluruh hasil yang sudah penulis dapatkan dari wawancara mengenai resepsi informan terhadap adegan pembullyan Di Sinetron “Dari Jendela SMP” mendapatkan berbeda - beda pendapat yang pertama resepsi informan Zahra, Kia, dan Nissa yang menyetujui bahwa adegan tersebut adalah adegan pembullyan karena dalam posisi Dominan Hegemoni dijelaskan bahwa khalayak akan menerima makna secara keseluruhan yang dibuat oleh si pembuat pesan atau program. Kata Kunci : Khalayak, Pembully, Resepsi, Sinetron, Indonesia.
