Abstract
The development of technology in the field of telecommunications, especially networks that use fiber optic cables is increasingly rapid. The Pakubuwono Apartment is a multi-storey residential building consisting of 2 towers, namely Tower A 14 floors and Tower B 9 floors with a total of 672 rooms and is included in the type of upper middle class housing that requires FTTH networks for Internet access as a demand, Fiber to the home based (GPON) gigabit passive optical networks are technology solutions that meet these needs. Based on these problems, a fiber optic network design was made at the Pakubuwono Terrace Apartment, consisting of 672 houses divided into 2 towers using the AutoCAD application and calculating the power link budget. Computing starts from OLT devices at ISPs or internet service providers, then calculations at OTB and ODP, and finally at customer ONU. The results of the Power link budget calculation in the design and calculation of the maximum damping value from OLT to the customer's home are within the standard of 25.57 dB, below the maximum standard of 28 dB and the acceptability obtained by the customer is around -21.57 dBm. standard maximum -27 dBm. Keywords: Fiber Optik, FTTH, GPON, Power Link budget. Perkembangan teknologi di bidang telekomunikasi khususnya jaringan yang menggunakan kabel serat optik semakin pesat. Apartemen Pakubuwono merupakan bangunan hunian bertingkat yang terdiri dari 2 tower yaitu Tower A 14 lantai dan Tower B 9 lantai dengan total 672 kamar dan termasuk dalam tipe perumahan kelas menengah atas yang membutuhkan jaringan FTTH untuk akses Internet sebagai tuntutan, Fiber to the home yang berbasis (GPON) gigabit passive optical networks merupakan solusi teknologi yang memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlah rancangan jaringan fiber optik di Apartemen Pakubuwono Terrace yang terdiri dari 672 rumah yang dibagi menjadi 2 tower dengan menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD dan perhitungan power link budget. Komputasi dimulai dari perangkat OLT di ISP atau penyedia jasa internet, selanjutnya perhitungan di OTB dan ODP, dan terakhir di ONU pelanggan. Hasil perhitungan Power link budget dalam perancangan dan perhitungan nilai redaman maksimum dari OLT sampai di rumah pelanggan berada dalam standar yaitu 25,57 dB, dibawah standar maksimum 28 dB dan daya terima yang diperoleh pelanggan sekitar -21,57 dBm. standar maksimum -27 dBm.
