Abstract
Education plays a very important role in increasing reliable human resources. The implementation of international standard education is based on the era of globalization which demands strong competitive capabilities in technology, management, human resources, as well as efforts to improve the quality of education. This school was designed with the aim of improving students' academic and non-academic abilities by providing coaching facilities, as well as developing students' talents and creativity. Stanford School Jakarta is an international school for kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school education levels which is designed with various facilities inside and integrated with each other building mass. This school applies the concepts of Biomimicry Architecture and Green Architecture which are applied by arranging the site in a butterfly-like shape. This school also provides various kinds of facilities that support sustainable and environmentally friendly concepts as well as direct application of environmentally sound technology so that it can have a positive impact on the environment, both the natural environment and building users. Keyword : International Standard School, Biomimicry Architecture Pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting di dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang handal. Penyelenggaran Pendidikan bertaraf internasional dilatar belakangi oleh masa globalisasi yang menuntut kemampuan daya saing yang kuat dalam teknologi, manajemen, sumber daya manusia, serta sebagai upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sekolah ini dirancang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan akademis ataupun non akademis siswanya lewat penyediaan fasilitas- fasiltas pembinaan, serta pengembangan bakat dan kreativitas siswanya. Stanford School Jakarta merupakan sekolah bertraf Internasional jenjang Pendidikan TK, SD, SMP dan SMA yang dirancang dengan berbagai fasilitas didalamnya serta terintegrasi dari masing-masing massa bangunan lainnya. Sekolah ini menerapkan konsep Biomimicry Architecture dan Green Architecture yang diaplikasikan dengan penataan tapak yang membentuk seperti kupu-kupu. sekolah ini juga menyediakan berbagai macam fasilitas yang mendukung konsep sustainable dan ramah lingkunngan serta penerapan secara langsung penggunaan teknologi yang berwawasan lingkungan sehingga dapat memberikan dampak positif pada lingkungan, baik lingkungan alam maupun pengguna bangunan.
