Abstract

Company Profile merupakan sebuah data atau profil suatu perusahaan atau instansi yang digunakan untuk memperkenalkan usaha pada rekan bisnisnya. Company profile tidak hanya dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan yang bersifat perkantoran saja, melainkan sebuah organisasi atau komunitas juga membutuhkan company profile untuk menarik audience agar menyewa dan mengenal keberadaannya. Company profile tidak hanya digunakan untuk memperkenalkan profil perusahaan saja, tetapi bagi komunitas jasa merupakan media yang efektif untuk sarana promosi, terutama melalui buku tercetak. Salah satunya adalah komunitas gamelan Samurti Andaru Laras di Jakarta. Company profile yang berbasis tercetak merupakan media yang paling mudah dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai alat presentasi kepada klien kapanpun dan dimanapun, juga buku ini dapat dilihat atau dinikmati berulang kali. Penerapan ilustrasi pada buku ini memggunakan corak batik khas Surakarta yaitu “parang rusak dan truntum”, keduanya memiliki makna yang berbeda namun satu tujuan yang sama yaitu semangat pantang menyerah yang tidak berhenti bergerak sehingga senantiasa bersemi dan bersemarak lagi ketika ada suatu kendala. Diterapkan disetiap layout buku dengan pola miring (mengikuti pola asli motif parang pada umumnya). Buku ini memiliki semangat akan pelestarian budaya dan pengenalan komunitas gamelan Samurti Andaru Laras dalam bentuk company profile yang menerapkan ilustrasi corak batik Surakarta yang merupakan citra komunitas tersebut.Company Profile is a data or profile of a company or agency used to introduce business to its business partners. Company profile is not only required by companies that are only offices, but an organization or community also requires a company profile to attract the audience to hire and recognize its existence. Company profile is not only used to introduce company profile only, but for the service community is an effective medium for promotion, especially through printed book. One of them is Samurti Andaru Laras gamelan community in Jakarta. A printed-based company profile is the easiest and most convenient medium to use as a presentation tool to the client whenever and wherever, as well as this book can be viewed or enjoyed repeatedly. The application of the illustrations in this book uses the typical Surakarta batik style of "broken machete and truntum", both of which have different meanings but the same goal is the unyielding spirit that does not stop moving so that it will always sprout and sprout again when there is a constraint. Applied in every book layout with a skewed pattern (following the original pattern of parang motif in general). This book has a spirit of cultural preservation and the introduction of Samurti Andaru Laras gamelan community in the form of company profile that apply the illustration of Surakarta batik style which is the image of the community.
