Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of inflation, BI Rate, and the Exchange Rate on Stock Returns (Study of Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018 - 2022 Period). The population that will be used in this research is food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period, namely 42 populations. The samples that will be used in this research are 22 samples of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The sample selection method uses a purposive sampling technique, namely sampling is taken with certain considerations and the criteria are met. The data collection method uses library study techniques with secondary data, namely data that has been processed or presented and has been published on the BEI website. The data processing method in this research uses panel data regression analysis with the help of EViews version 12 software. The results of this research show that the inflation has a negative and significant effect on stock returns, while BI Rate and Exchange Rate have no effect on stock returns. Keywords: Inflation, BI Rate, Exchange Rate and Stock Returns Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Inflasi, BI Rate,dan Kurs Terhadap Return Saham (Studi pada Perusahaan Sub Sektor Makanan dan Minuman yang Tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2018 - 2022). Populasi yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018- 2022 yaitu sebanyak 42 populasi. Sampel yang akan digunakan penelitian ini sebanyak 22 sampel perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2022. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampelnya dengan pertimbangan yang tertentu dengan kriteria yang dipenuhi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi kepustakaan dengan jenis data sekunder, yaitu data yang telah diolah atau disajikan dan telah dipublikasikan di situs BEI. Metode pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan software EViews versi 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham, sedangkan BI Rate dan kurs tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham.
