Abstract
High-rise buildings to date still mostly utilize conventional automated systems for their facilities and infrastructure control systems. One of them is a clean water distribution system that still uses many relays, contactors, and timers for its control system. This results in a number of losses for building operators/technicians. Based on these conditions, this study designs a control and monitoring system for the distribution and utilization of clean water in office buildings based on the Experion LXR120 virtual machine PLC. Using PLC as a controller that processes data sent by sensors located on rooftop tanks to give commands to selenoids (valves) and pumps. With HMI that displays the water condition on the rooftop tank. The results obtained, the operation of the system using C300 Honeywell PLC control for on/off pumps and selenoids obtained a delay time of less than 1 second, namely 0.355 seconds when activating the pump / selenoid and 0.655 seconds when deactivating the pump / selenoid. Keywords: High-rise Building, Clean Water, PLC, HM Gedung bangunan bertingkat hingga saat ini sebagian besar masih memanfaatkan sistem otomatis konvensional untuk sistem kontrol sarana dan prasarananya. Salah satunya yaitu sistem pendistribusian air bersih yang masih menggunakan banyak relay, kontaktor, dan timer untuk sistem kontrolnya. Hal ini mengakibatkan sejumlah kerugian bagi operator/teknisi gedung. Berdasar kondisi tersebut, pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan sistem kontrol dan monitoring pendistribusian dan pemanfaaatan air bersih pada gedung perkantoran berbasis PLC virtual machine experion LXR120. Menggunakan PLC sebagai kontroler yang mengolah data yang dikirim oleh sensor yang berada di rooftop tank untuk memberikan perintah kepada selenoid (valve) dan pompa. Dengan HMI yang menampilkan kondisi air pada rooftop tank. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, pengoperasian sistem menggunakan kontrol PLC C300 Honeywell untuk on/off pompa dan selenoid didapatkan waktu delay kurang dari 1 detik, yaitu 0.355 detik ketika mengaktifkan pompa/selenoid dan 0.655 detik ketika menonaktifkan pompa/selenoid.
