Abstract

Transportasi mempunyai peranan penting dalam menunjang kegiatan masyarakat, namun dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana transportasi menjadi masalah karena pertumbuhan sarana lebih cepat dibandingkan pertumbuhan prasarananya sehingga menimbulkan kemacetan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja simpang bersinyal pada persimpangan Pondok Indah dan memberikan alternatif pemecahan masalah Metode yang digunakan seputar ilmu mengenai persimpangan, mulai dari bentuknya sampai elemen lain yang terkait dengan persimpangan seperti siklus waktu hijau, siklus waktu merah, dan sebagainya. Adapun metode yang digunakan dengan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI-1997) Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, didapat kinerja eksisting simpang bersinyal Pondok Indah pada arus maksimum (peak hour) memiliki nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) tertinggi di lengan Barat sebesar 1,35 dan didapatkan Level of Service (LOS) F (sangat buruk). Maka perlu dilakukan alternative dengan merubah fase sinyal dan mengurangi hambatan samping, dan didapatkan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) tertinggi di lengan Barat sebesar 0,74 dan didapatkan Level of Service (LOS) C (cukup baik).Transport has a key role in supporting community activities, but with rising transportation and infrastructure needs to be a problem because growth means more rapid than the growth of the infrastructure so as to cause congestion. This research aims to analyze the performance of the junction signal at the intersection of Pondok Indah and provide an alternative problem solving. Methods used regarding the study of intersection, from its shape until other elements associated with an intersection like cycle time cycle time of green, red, and so on. As for the method used in this research is with Manual methods 1997 Indonesia road capacity (MKJI-1997) From the results of the analysis that has been done, the existing performance obtainable junction signals the maximum currents at the Pondok Indah (peak hour) have a value of degree of saturation (DS) is the highest in the Western arm of 1.35 and obtained Level of Service (LOS) F (very bad). Hence the need for alternative by changing phase signals and reduce inhibitions aside, and obtained the value of the degree of saturation (DS) is the highest in the Western arm of 0.74 and obtained Level of Service (LOS) C (enough good)
