Abstract

This research aims to find out whether emotional intelligence and job satisfaction influence the performance of employees of PT Bank ABC. The research method uses a quantitative approach. With a research population of 759 employees, and then a non-probability sampling technique using accidental sampling obtained a research sample of 118 employees (respondents). In this research, the data collection technique used was by filling out a questionnaire via a Google Form link. Data was collected with the help of 38 items for measuring emotional intelligence, 24 items for job satisfaction and 27 items for employee performance. Testing was carried out using simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings show that emotional intelligence influences employee performance significantly with a magnitude of 81.9%. Furthermore, job satisfaction influences employee performance significantly with an amount of 94.3%. And at the same time emotional intelligence and job satisfaction can influence the performance of employees PT.Bank ABC was 94.7% with the remaining 5.3% being variables that could influence employee performance outside of this research. Key words: emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, employee performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT.Bank ABC. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun populasi penelitian berjumlah 759 karyawan, dan selanjutnya teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability menggunakan accidental sampling diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 118 karyawan (responden). Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai dengan mengisi kuesioner melalui tautan google form. Pengumpulan data dengan bantuan alat ukur kecerdasan emosional 38 item, kepuasan kerja 24 item dan kinerja karyawan 27 item. Pengujian dilakukan dengan analisa regresi linear sederhana dan berganda. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kecerdasan emosional mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara signifikan dengan besaran 81.9%. Selanjutnya, kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara signifikan dengan besaran 94.3%. Serta, secara bersamaan kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja dapat mempengaruhi ki nerja karyawan PT. Bank ABC sebesar 94.7% dengan sisanya 5.3% merupakan variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di luar penelitian ini. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja, kinerja karyawan
