Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran parasosial pada perempuan dewasa awal terhadap penyanyi idola. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini ada empat orang subjek perempuan yang seorang fangirl serta berada pada kategori usia dewasa awal dan dipilih secara random. Didapat dua orang subjek perempuan fangirl dari One Direction, dan dua orang subjek perempuan fangirl dari EXO. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan metode observasi sebagai penunjang dari metode wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini ke-empat subjek perempuan menunjukkan gambaran parasosial pada diri mereka. Dengan adanya interaksi parasosial, ke-empat subjek seakan sudah mengenal baik sang idola, ke-empat subjek merasa seperti memiliki hubungan lebih dari seorang fans dengan sang idola. Namun, hubungan yang dimiliki ini hanya hubungan satu arah. Dimana subjek sangat mengenal idola-nya, namun sang idola sama sekali tidak mengetahui siapa diri dari subjek. Begitu pula dengan relasi parasosial dimana adanya perluasan dari interaksi parasosial, ke-empat subjek berilusi mengenai hubungan langsung dengan idola mereka sebagai hasil rekaan.The aims of this research to determine the parasocial picture in early adult women towards idol singers. Subject used in this research there are four women subjects who are fangirl, and in the early adult age category and randomly selected. Obtained two women subjects from One Direction fangirl and two women subjects from EXO fangirl. This research used qualitative research methods by using interview method and observation method as supporting from interview method. The results of this research to the four subjects showed a parasocial picture in themselves. With the interaction of parasocial, the four subjects seemed to have known the idol well, the four subjects feel like having a relationship more than a fan with the idol. However, this relationship is only a one-way relationship. Where the subject is very familiar with their idol, but the idol did not know who they was from the subject. Similarly, with a parasocial of relationship in which the expansion of parasocial interaction occurs, the four subjects are deluded about the direct relationship with their idol as a fictional outcome.
