Abstract
This research aims to determine a descriptive study of self-compassion in initial level students at Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. This research used 350 respondents. The measuring instrument used in this research is, for selfcompassion, a self-compassion measuring instrument adapted from Ifan Aulia Syaiful and Adiyo Roebianto (2020) which consists of 35 items. This research used IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software. The results of this research were 0.761. The results of data analysis in this research show that the descriptive study of selfcompassion among initial level students at Mercu Buana University, Jakarta, is in the medium category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui studi deskriptif self-compassion pada mahasiswa tingkat awal di universitas mercu buana jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 350 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, untuk self-compassion menggunakan alat ukur self-compassion yang diadaptasi dari Ifan Aulia Syaiful dan Adiyo Roebianto (2020) yang terdiri dari 35 item. Penelitian ini menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 23. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sebesar 0,761. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa studi deskriptif self-compassion pada mahasiswa tingkat awal di universitas mercu buana jakarta berada dalam kategori sedang. Kata Kunci : Self-Compassion, Mahasiswa Tingkat Awal, Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta.
