Abstract
PT Tanamas Industry Comunitas is a furniture export company with customers in various countries. So, it requires a website that can be accessed reliably in various countries. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Global Load Balancer on Cloud Run serverless service for international traffic distribution on the PT Tanamas Industry Comunitas website. Through the configuration of Global Load Balancer and the use of Cloud Run as a serverless service, as well as the configuration of SQL Replica in several countries, this research examines the impact on responsiveness and consistency of website access. By testing before and after the implementation of Load Balancer, there is a significant decrease in website response time from 5-7 seconds to 1-2 seconds after implementation based on the lighthouse speed index results. In addition, based on Apache bench results with 5000 requests, the response time difference between locations was also reduced to around 100-200 milliseconds from the previous 1500-2000 milliseconds. These findings indicate that the implementation of Load Balancer and SQL Replica configuration is effective in improving access consistency and user experience in accessing the website of PT Tanamas Industry as a furniture exporter in the global market. Keyword: load balancer, cloud computing, database replica, response time PT. Tanamas Industry Comunitas adalah perusahaan ekspor furnitur dengan pelanggan di berbagai negara. Sehingga dibutuhkan website yang dapat diakses dengan andal di berbagai negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Global Load Balancer pada layanan serverless Cloud Run untuk distribusi trafik internasional pada website PT. Tanamas Industry Comunitas. Melalui konfigurasi Global Load Balancer dan penggunaan Cloud Run sebagai layanan serverless, serta konfigurasi SQL Replica di beberapa negara, penelitian ini meneliti dampaknya terhadap responsif dan konsistensi akses website. Dengan pengujian sebelum dan setelah penerapan Load Balancer, terjadi penurunan signifikan waktu respons website dari 5-7 detik menjadi 1-2 detik setelah implementasi berdasarkan hasil speed index lighthouse. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil Apache bench dengan 5000 request perbedaan waktu respons antar lokasi juga berkurang menjadi sekitar 100-200 mili detik dari yang sebelumnya 1500-2000 mili detik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Load Balancer dan konfigurasi SQL Replica efektif dalam meningkatkan konsistensi akses dan pengalaman pengguna dalam mengakses website PT.
