Abstract
One of the problems that often arises when implementing projects is the existence of variation orders. The appearance of this variation order can affect the performance of implementers in the project, one of which is a vendor or supplier and among them has an impact on delays in delivering materials to the project. The performance of this vendor can be seen from the QCDFR indicators, namely Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility and Responsiveness. The method carried out in this study is a mix method, namely qualitative and quantitative. Where the qualitative method used by researchers is in the form of questionnaires that function as data collection techniques and the results of data obtained using quantitative methods, namely analysis with the help of the SPSS program to test hypotheses that have been set. From the results of data analysis, it was found that factors causing variation orders that affect vendor performance in the supply by owner procurement system. Factors that influence significantly are the Consultant Factor and the Owner Factor. The percentage of influence of variation orders on vendor performance is 91.7%. One way to overcome the impact of this variation order is to conduct good consultation and effective communication with vendors regarding changes that occur. Keyword : Variation Order, Vendor Performance, Qualitative, Quantitative, SPSS Salah satu permasalahan yang kerap muncul ketika pelaksanaan proyek adalah adanya variation order. Kemunculan variation order ini dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja para pelaksana di proyek salah satunya adalah vendor atau supplier dan diantaranya berdampak pada keterlambatan pengiriman material ke proyek. Kinerja vendor ini dapat dilihat dari indikator QCDFR yaitu Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility dan Responsiveness. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mix methode yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dimana metode kualitatif yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa kuesioner yang berfungsi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dan hasil data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu analisis dengan bantuan program SPSS untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Dari hasil analisis data didapatkan faktor-faktor penyebab variation order yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja vendor pada sistem pengadaan barang supply by owner. Faktor yang berpengaruh secara siginifikan adalah Faktor Konsultan dan Faktor Owner. Besar persentase pengaruh variation order terhadap kinerja vendor adalah 91,7%. Salah satu cara dalam mengatasi dampak dari variation order ini adalah dengan melakukan konsultasi dan komunikasi efektif yang baik dengan vendor terkait perubahan yang terjadi.
