Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi efektif dengan peningkatan motivasi kerja karyawan dunia retail di Jakarta menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pada fenomena ini peningkatan motivasi kerja melalui komunikasi efektif banyak yang harus dilakukan agar motivasi kerja terus meningkat. Hal ini tentunya dapat membuat karyawan mencari strategi yang paling efektif guna meningkatkan motivasi kerja melalui berkomunikasi dengan efektif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan retail di Jakarta yang berusia 18-55 Tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi efektif terhadap peningkatan motivasi karyawan dunia retail di Jakarta. Bahwa hasil penelitian memiliki hubungan antara komunikasi efektif dengan peningkatan motivasi kerja. Komunikasi efektif adalah komunikasi yang dapat memberikan bentuk perubahan sikap yang terjadi pada saat berkomunikasi, dan motivasi kerja adalah dorongan perilaku serta kemampuan diri untuk mencapai tujuan yang terjadi dalam pencapaian atas peningkatan motivasi kerja secara optimal. Semakin besar peningkatan motivasi karyawan maka semakin tinggi hubungan dengan komunikasi efektif. Metode yang di pakai pada penelitian yang peneliti buat yaitu metode korelasional. Pada penelitian yang peneliti lakukan menggunakan non-probability sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara Komunikasi Efektif dengan Motivasi Kerja karyawan retail di Jakarta, artinya terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi efektif dengan motivasi kerja karyawan retail di Jakarta. Kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi komunikasi efektif yang terjadi pada karyawan retail maka akan semakin tinggi pula motivasi kerjanya. Begitupun sebaliknya, semakin rendah komunikasi efektifnya yang terjadi pada karyawan retail maka motivasi kerjanya juga akan semakin rendah. This research wants to find out the relationship between effective communication and increased work motivation of retail employees in Jakarta using quantitative methods. In this phenomenon, increasing work motivation through effective communication has a lot to do so that work motivation continues to increase. This can certainly make employees look for the most effective strategies to increase work motivation through communicating effectively. The subjects in this research were all retail employees in Jakarta aged 18-55 years. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between effective communication and increasing employee motivation in the retail world in Jakarta. That the research results have a relationship between effective communication and increased work motivation. Effective communication is communication that can provide a form of attitude change that occurs when communicating, and work motivation is the encouragement of behavior and self- ability to achieve goals that occur in achieving an optimal increase in work motivation. The greater the increase in employee motivation, the higher the relationship with effective communication. The method used in the research that the researcher created is the correlational method. In the research the researchers conducted used non-probability sampling. The results of this research show that there is a significant positive correlation between effective communication and the work motivation of retail employees in Jakarta, meaning that there is a relationship between effective communication and the work motivation of retail employees in Jakarta. The conclusion is that the higher the effective communication that occurs among retail employees, the higher their work motivation will be. Vice versa, the lower the effective communication that occurs among retail employees, the lower their work motivation will also be.
