Abstract
Komunikasi merupakan hal yang melekat disetiap kehidupan manusia dalam bersosialisasi. Tanpa adanya komunikasi yang baik, maka dampak yang buruk akan terjadi begitupun di lingkungan kerja. Employee relations merupakan bagian dari aktivitas public relations dalam suatu perusahaan yang memiliki peran penting untuk menjaga komunikasi yang baik terhadap karyawannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Aktivitas employee relations PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta dalam Upaya Meninkgatkan Kualitas Kerja Karyawan. Penelitian terdahulu berupa 5 jurnal nasional yang juga membahas mengenai aktivitas employee relations dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas kerja karyawannya yang secara garis besar perbedaannya terletak pada obyek penelitian. Kajian teoritis berupa komunikasi organisasi, public relations, employee relations, karyawan, dan kualitas kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma post-positivisme. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dengan 1 key informan dan 4 informan dan observasi non participant didukung dengan dokumentasi terkait. Penelitian menggunakan triangulasi sumber untuk menguji kredibilitas data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta, terdapat faktor internal dan eksternal dalam meningkatkan kualitas kerja karyawan, terdapat aktivitas employee relations dengan program-program yang diimplementasi perusahaan, terdapat dampak dari employee relations terhadap perusahaan dan kualitas kerja karyawan. Kesimpulannya adalah aktivitas employee relations PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas kerja karyawan yaitu menciptakan culture work life balance dimana karyawan dapat membagi waktu antara pekerjaan dengan kehidupan pribadi. Aktivitas selanjutnya yaitu meningkatkan employee engagement melalui kegiatan gathering, program company dinner, program training hard skill dan soft skill, program penghargaan berupa benefit kepada karyawan diluar gaji seperti employee of the year, serta promosi jabatan atau pengembangan karir. Communication is inherent in every human life in socializing. Without good communication, a bad impact will occur as well as in the work environment. Employee relations is part of public relations activities in a company that has an important role to maintain good communication with its employees. This study aims to determine the employee relations Activities of PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta in an Effort to Improve Employee Work Quality. Previous research in the form of 5 national journals that also discuss employee relations activities in an effort to improve the quality of work of their employees, which in outline the difference lies in the object of research. Theoretical studies in the form of organizational communication, public relations, employee relations, employees, and work quality. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a post-positivism paradigm. Data collection techniques used interview techniques with 1 key informant and 4 informants and non-participant observation supported by related documentation. The research used source triangulation to test the credibility of the data. Based on the results of research at PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta, there are internal and external factors in improving employee work quality, there are employee relations activities with programs implemented by the company, there is an impact of employee relations on the company and employee work quality. The conclusion is that the employee relations activities of PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance Jakarta in an effort to improve the quality of employee work are creating a work life balance culture where employees can divide time between work and personal life. The next activity is to increase employee engagement through gathering activities, company dinner programs, hard skill and soft skill training programs, award programs in the form of benefits to employees outside of salaries such as employee of the year, and promotion or career development.
