Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri mahasiswa psikologi di Universitas X yang kuliah sambil bekerja. Sampel berjumlah 187 mahasiswa dari fakultas psikologi yang melaksanakan kuliah sambil bekerja dengan pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Penelitian ini mengunakan dua instrument yaitu General Self Efficacy Scale dan Skala Penyesuaian Diri. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan korelasi Spearman Rho dengan bantuan SPPS 20 for windows. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,627 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self efficacy dan penyesuaian diri. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi self efficacy maka akan semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri, begitu pula sebaliknya, semakin rendah self efficacy maka semakin rendah penyesuaian diri. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and self adjustment of psychology students at University X who studying while working. The sample amounted to 187 students from the psychology faculty who student while working with sample selection using purposive sampling techniques. This research uses two instruments, namely the General Self Efficacy Scale and the Personal Adjustment Scale. Data obtained using Spearman Rho correlation with processed by SPPS 20 for windows. From the research results, it is known that the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.627 and the significance value is 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and self-adjustment. This can be interpreted that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the self- adjustment, and vice versa, the lower the self-efficacy, the lower the self- adjustment.
