Abstract

Kegiatan perawatan dan pemeliharaan merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya keterlambatan jadwal penerbangan suatu maskapai. Berdasarkan laporan dari salah satu maskapai penerbangan nasional terdapat 39% pekerjaan maintenance tidak dapat terselesaikan pada periode Januari 2022 - Juni 2023. Peningkatan produktivitas maintenance diperlukan agar dapat meningkatkan jumlah pekerjaan selesai dan memperkecil kontibusinya terhadap keterlambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pada divisi maintenance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengetahui nilai perbaikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perbaikan, metode Maintenance Value Stream Maping (MVSM) untuk membuat peta aliran proses kegiatan maintenance sehingga dapat mengetahui penyebab efektivitas dan efisiensi yang tidak tercapai dengan metode fishbone diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai OEE awal sebelum dilakukan perbaikan adalah sebesar 29,38% dan nilai Value Added hasil maping Currernt MVSM sebesar 38,70%. Penyebab utama efektivitas dan efisiensi yang tidak tercapai adalah kurangnya keterampilan, pengalaman, dan motivasi di bagian manusia, masalah komunikasi dan perencanaan dalam metode, kekurangan dalam audit peralatan dan pengaturan penggunaan alat (tools), manajemen persediaan yang kurang efisien untuk sparepart, serta kondisi lingkungan kerja yang tidak optimal. Simulasi dilakukan dengan membentuk tim kecil yang dikondisikan dengan ideal mampu meningkatkan Nilai Value Added hasil maping Future MVSM sebesar 45,54% yang berdampak pada peningkatan OEE akhir menjadi 59,49%. Challenges in the maintenance division of a national airline were confirmed by data release, indicating an inability to complete 79,534 work orders, or 39%, in the maintenance department from January 2022 to June 2023. This situation poses a cumulative burden for the following year. The objective of this study was to determine the current Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in the maintenance division, identify causes of unachieved effectiveness and efficiency, and ascertain methods for problem resolution and implementation of derived solutions. The methodologies employed in this research included Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Maintenance Visual Stream Mapping (MVSM). The study revealed that the initial OEE was 29.38%, with Availability at 81.22%, Performance at 90.17%, and Quality at just 40.12%. The greatest potential for improvement was identified in Quality. A Fishbone analysis pinpointed factors contributing to low effectiveness and efficiency, such as lack of skills, experience, motivation, issues in communication, planning, equipment auditing, tool usage, spare part inventory management, and suboptimal work environment conditions. Implemented solutions comprised retraining, hiring experienced mechanics, enhancing communication, planning, regular equipment audits, improved inventory management, and work environment optimization. Consequently, the Value Added (VA) percentage increased from 38.70% to 45.54%, and OEE significantly rose from 29.38% to 59.49%, particularly in Performance and Quality aspects, demonstrating the effectiveness of the solutions applied.
